- 3 Cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup caster sugar
- 1 cup unsalted or softened butter
- ¼ cup the butter or margarine
- ¼ cup light muscovado sugar
- 1 ½ cans condensed milk
- 2 cups broken chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat an oven at 350 degrees F
- Take a rectangular baking pan lined with the parchment paper and grease then with some olive oil, take a bowl add flour caster sugar, unsalted butter, then rub them in softened butter (until they are converted into fine breadcrumbs)
- Then pull out the dough and knead them until it is elastic and smooth
- Take out the rolling pin and roll the dough in rectangular shape
- Then let them prick with a fork
- Let then bake for about 20 minutes until it turns into golden brown and crispy
- Take a nonstick pan add the butter, margarine, muscovado sugar and condensed milk. Let then simmer on low flame. Let them heat up until it is dissolved and is converted into thick liquid
- Pour this on the shortbread and let then cool
- Then take a nonstick pan add the chocolate pieces and let them melt on low flame until it is melted
- Then put this on the cold caramel and then set them aside
- Then cut them in the hot bars and serve them and enjoy
