  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 14 ounces sweet corn kernels drained
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup chopped green peppers
  • ½ cup Taco seasoning
  • 8 ounces cornbread mix
  • 3 ounces french-fried onions divided
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese


  • Take a nonstick skillet add the extra virgin olive oil then add the minced beef let them cook on medium flame until no longer remains pink
  • Then drain them and stir them in the water, corn kernels, and tomato sauce, taco seasoning and green peppers
  • Then sprinkle some salt and black pepper to taste
  • Then spoon them in the baking dish
  • Now prepare the cornbread mixture according to the package directions and then stir in the French-fried onions. Then spread them over the beef mixture
  • Then transfer them to the baking oven at 425 degrees F and let them bake for about 20 minutes
  • Then sprinkle on them cheese and remaining cheese and remaining onions. Let them bake for about 5 minutes until the cheese starts melting and bubbling
  • Then serve them and enjoy
